About the job

As the Estimating Manager, you’ll be a key player in our project success, overseeing the estimation process and leading a team of estimators. Your role encompasses managing subcontracted work from opportunity identification to project initiation and handover. You’ll collaborate with clients and colleagues to craft accurate estimates and play a crucial part in nurturing positive client relationships.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and guide the Estimation team, providing insights into successful win strategies and approaches.
• Develop and uphold a streamlined tendering process, ensuring meticulous contract negotiations.
• Analyse drawings and documents to prepare detailed estimates for time, cost, materials, and labour.
• Engage with stakeholders throughout the tender process, building and sustaining strong client rapport.
• Provide technical support and proactive troubleshooting to mitigate risks.
• Ensure alignment with company core values and operational principles.
• Oversee general tasks, integrated management system responsibilities, and employee performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (BSc, Civil, Structural) or Bachelor of Engineering (BE).
• A minimum of 10 years’ experience, including 5+ years in demolition projects
• Proficiency in planning software (P6, MS Project) and drafting tools (AutoCAD, SketchUp).
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, Cloud based Software, Estimating platforms
• Fluent communication skills in English.
